muppet needs advice

hi guys


ive owen a p38 for a feww weeks now swap air bag to coils witha 2" lift im took her off road today in low box for about 2 miles got back on the black top and she started to play up a bit do i have to reverse her back to unwind diff any info well come

quite possibly - was the warning light still on?

not sure dash ****ed and was beeping till i put in hi parked never owned a range rover let alone an auto

So just to clarify - You've put on a 2 inch lift kit and you are now getting drivetrain issues...:5brant:

No you dont have to unwind the drivetrain unless your centre diff is seized solid -they are viscous units.

no i own fronteras b4 the auto hub i had to wined back in by backing the truck up thourght i had to do same the issue i have after coming out of low box she was driving then was try had to change up but never did till i gained speed

you cant wind the diff up on a VC.So your aying you went off road in low range for a bit came back on to road put it back in high range and it kicked off?Wot was the warnings?Was you stoppedd in N?

no warning just changed funny went fro 2.5 k revs to 3.5 then changed gear then went straight back to 2nd gear the back to 3 then was ok

cos the p38 is a computr on wheels its might need a second or 30 to catch up with its self when changing hi-lo.Unlike yanking a lever across.Sounds ok to me.

I think you tried to go from low range to high whilst still moving.

so can some one tell me when i come out of low box do i leave in netural for a few seconds the driver off

it should bleep when you come out, or go into. and allwaks whilst you are parked..

Only change when you are stationary. you should hear "beep beep beep, clunk"

i hear alot of beeping and the green light flash there no clunk i was talking to a m8 he said i might need to change the oil and filter he sed it sounds like it sticking in low box so would an oil change and filter sort it out

youd know it if yer were stuck in low, top speed of first of about 8mph

Changing the oil a filter in the gearbox will have no affect on the transfer box. It is a seperate system.
