Mounting a Hummer H1 Body Shell on Disco 1 drivetrain

think thats what you call "thinking out side of the box" or summut like that

i fort hummers were alot wider than that

Why havent you kept the hummer chassis?

I am a cardiologist and working on cars is my hobby. I am currently mounting a Hummer H1 body (Ex US Army) which I bought off a scrap yard in USA , onto a Land Rover Discovery 1.

Brilliant project, let us know how you get on & how well it performs etc. once built. Take two scrappers & make one good hybrid - they should be applauding you but unfortunately some here are very set in their extremely old fashioned ways. Nothing has the same presence as a Hummer. Good luck.

Seen the photos now.
Hell of a project you got there.
Your wheel bearings and swivels are going to be under loadsa stress with the size wheel spacers you got on.
Hats off to you for having the balls (and the money) to attempt this.
Keep posting pics and updates.
I for one am interested in seeing how you get along.
