What do you have? A 90 will go through a normal MoT testing station, but if you have a 110 it will probably need to go through a Class 7 as it is over 3000kg.

Just rang the MoT station and they said that most testers can't get a 110 onto their hoists, which is why they go to a Class 7 as those testers use pits rather than hoists.

However, as they are used to doing Landies they don't rag the handbrake on for a smokey stop!

One tester a few years ago managed to wreck the back prop shaft by 'testing the handbrake efficiency' ... he then failed it on there being 'excessive wear in the UJ's'!

For anyone up here in the North-East SMC are really good with Landies.

because it is capable of carring 3050KG (including its own weight) which is 50kg over a normal class 4 like cars and vans which can carry including their own weight of 3000KG.

The 110 van is rated to tow up to 3500Kg and weigh its self 3050Kg with a load in the back

dont know if that has made it clear as mud for you but at least i tried :)
