Recently removed the gearbox of my series 3 [ no reverse] Clutch release bearing was pretty ropy, some ball bearings had gone AWOL but it was still working.

Got the clutch replaced and learned dodgy non landy garage fitted it without the clip on the slace cylinder and some bracket other way around!
The sound still persists and seems to be more than before incl hearing it when parked in neutral. Press clutch pedal and quiet.
Been gathering quote from transmission rebuild specialists.
Beauford 4x4 is best value with good recommendations
Ashcroft ok price thou recommendations mixed
Winchester, Bristol, Gearlink and Shelly around 2.5K incl fitting!
Been trying to get in contact with AW transmission and hoping to get reply from Whitehouse
Any places you could recommend? Got prices from 1700 to 2800 with lead time for 1 week to 8 weeks
