Dunno , I don't just do mud .. you asked for aggressive mud.

A lot depends if you want to drive elsewhere, or trailer something to a mudhole, like Frickley, or actually 'go' anywhere different. If you just do mud and want to blast straight through, then the above are good .. ;) If you go green laning or drive to Pay n plays or do anything other than straight lining mudholes then almost any Mud Terrain tyre can be 'good' .. depending on how you use it, again .. so much 'depends' on which is 'best'and no-one knows what you want them for, budget, wheel sizes etc etc .. according to you, you just wanted aggressive mud tyres .. doesn't say anything really .. ;)
humm see what your saying. well i will mostly be useing them at p&p sites i will be driving there but not that fussed how they handle on the road. so im looking for somthing that cleans its self well and has good mud tread patten and come in at least 35" to bring my axle height up.

do yu want to stop or go around corners?

A little hard mo fo weasel took me on with a bunny in its mouth, it stopped in the road and looked up at me.

Just before I ran the little fecker over in my L322.

You'd be better seeing what people run at the places you go to .. I'll probably say something that's completely different .. some places some tyres work, other places other tyres work.

yes. the tyres will be road legal so i should be fine doing that
if you cant stop or go round corners they wouldnt be road legal

Maybe weasel thought ooooooh nice car, or possibly I wasn't looking where I was driving and when i actually saw it trotting across the road i couldn't swerve out of its way without writing off my immediate family in the process.

Or possibly it's my chuffing road, I drive a range rover and I own the road so weasel is toast. :D

thanks for the info on tyres lads and for the rest of you its The Mosquito it kills more people than any other animal all over the world including the uk

The BEST offroad mud tyre is a maxicross however they are neither road legal nor come in at 35 inch.

Fedima are probably the next best that you can get and are road legal. When you say 35 inch do you mean 35 inch tyre or a measured height of 35 inches because believe me they are very very different.

Fedima 35's are actually 36.5 inch beasts whereas many other 35 inch only measure up to 33 at best.

I'd prefer maxicross over a fedima for offroad anyday except sand. next best is diamond pattern but again only upto 33 inch measured tyres which is usually the max for many clubs if you actually want to learn to drive oppsed to driving P&P days.

When you say diamond pattern do you mean like insa Sahara turbos? Reason I say that is cos I got them fitted and find them really good in the mud, mine are only 31's and as long as my diff don't hit I don't get stuck really, lots of confidence in them...

Diamonds I mean hilander 750 r 16 very popular trials tyre. dur to being 33 inches high max with most clubs and very good pattern Amazon/sahara pattern again not bad bit more for a greenlaners motor perfect.
