Mobile Web Browsers

C'mon website administrators!
I still dont have a technical answer to this.
Why is it that when using a standard mobile web browser, when I hit 'submit reply' that is throws me into a search menu?

and i rightly doubt that you will ever get a answer, no one else seems to want to do what you appear to be failing to do so why should the stability of the site be put at risk trying a mod to keep a single user happy ?

you'd be better off contacting the board developers and not the LZ admin bods

I run an HP Ipaq 6915 and it browses fine. I never have any problems getting online as long as I can "find" a wifi hotspot.

Opera Mini is the way forward - their PC web browser is good too, ignorew the firefox junkies. opera mini on the phone also condenses webpages, shrinks images etc, but it doesn't need a proxy to do it so it should work find with all webpages. There is (i am speculating) probably a referrer check in the coding for this forum - to stop people setting their computers to post automated reponses etc, which a yahoo system may confuse.

ok thanks, I had to send the phone back the memory was clogging up. the yahoo adapted format has changed to a similar format as operamini

I have a feeling that Operamini might not be a secure connection??, ever since installing it on the phone, the memory started to clog up and couldnt source where it was storing info.

Had to send the N73 for a re-flash to load the original settings, as already mentioned the new format is similar to Opermini. On other forums I even get a choice of linear, hybrid or forum layout on the phone.

Still some glitches on LZ, the top part of the screen is blank with what appears to be a google search facility???

Plus I can only reply via phone using the quick reply option, there simply isnt a dialogue box using [new reply] or

Still at least I can reply.

hopefully anyone else in dire need technical issues to Land Rovers can get answers from the forums at the raodside or mountainside.
