mirror,seat no movement

Hi this is my first post on this site(original start!!!), I have just brought a classic which i have always wanted after having 3 discoverys. It was when new a 3.9 SE some way in its past it was converted to a 200 tdi engine. My question is is there an easy to get the mirrors to work as the seat ecu has been removed. I have worked out how to get the seat to move but not the mirrors. I have looked into seat ecu's(hens teeth any one) if you can find them worth more than gold. Hope some one can help.
