P38A Front seat

Just a quickie, I assume that I have to remove the whole seat to work on the seat base, I need to do some repairs to the leather. Can I just pull the plugs without disconnecting the battery? (Memory seats etc, etc.)
Does anyone have the set element repair kits and the uprated thermostats, I need for both passenger and driver seats

The yellow plug is for the airbag so you're advised to disconnect the battery and leave it for 30 mins before touching (assuming you have the airbag seats)

I only have the airbags up front, none in the seats, its a 97 HSE so a bit early for the seat bags

i'm not aware of anything permanently live under there.. but you've got the becm

You may not have airbags in the seats but check to make sure you do not have the pyrotechnic seat belt tensioners.

Thanks for the heads up Keith, from what I have read the pretensioner seat belts were fitted from 99 onwards, I assume that these would be the pyrotechnic ones?? TBH I didn't know the P38 had them

Those are the ones I had no idea when they were first fitted, both mine have them.
