Mark It In Your Diaries People, Good News From The Garage Today!!!!!

Dropped the car off this morning for the brake pad change on the front so thought it would be a morning's work and I'd have the car back by lunchtime.

No ......

A call from the garage a few minutes ago and that feeling appeared back in my stomach and then whammy .... good news.

The pads are fine and it was just a break in the sensor cables. :clap2::clap2::clap2:

On another note, they did find a nail in my tyre but it's repairable so can't blame the rangie for that :lol:

Phew!!... I just made a stiff drink to have whilst I read your post turns out i didnt need it....Still drank it tho

Heh heh, keep it by your side just in case. They haven't made the 1200 yard drive back from the garage to my house yet!!!!:screaming_bug_eye_f:

Yeah they do exist. Mind you I do think they pity me now as I have their number on BT Friends and Family to at least save some money somewhere

The routing for the brake pad sensor is similar to the ABS sensor....often times, it rubs on the inside of the rim and chaffs through!...how do I know this? Cos that is what was causing my grief when I first got mine!

I've had 7....but my seventh has gone to a new home, so currently using Range Rover No.6

The Ninety is our 8th Land Rover product (7x RR's and the Ninety)
