Where can I download a manual for A '83 2-door Classic? I don't suppose a RAVE CD is available for it?

I have some serious electrical issues that I need to fix, but I'm at a loss without a manual.

Don't know about a download but Haynes did a manual for classic with wiring diagrams for various year models not sure if it cover yours but would think there would be to much different

I already found about 10wires in the engine bay alone that's not suppose to be there.

Think I'm just gonna take one at a time and replace the whole lot.

I have a 1970-1985 Repair Operations Manual that was published by Land Rover. The Main Circuit Diagram - All models -mid 1984 to 1985 on page 138 is identical to one in the Haynes Manual (presumabley where Haynes got it from), but it has mistakes on it. Quite a few ccts cannot possibly work wired that way (Trust me, I'm a retired Electrical Technition).

I appreciate that this diagram isn't suitable for your '83 two door, but my point is ... If LR can't get it right in tjheir own publications, I wouldn't put too much faith in any of the wiring diagrams.

There's an '82 to '84 diagram on page 131 that I could copy and send if you want it, BUT, it does specifically say it's for Autobox models.

Best course of action is to do as you say, very carefully trace the wiring by hand, and replace it as is. Just looking at the wiring on mine, I doubt that any two vehicles are the same, and Friday afternoon specials will be diabolical.

I still need a few things ID'ed. Please check my previous post. (The one where I spelled wiring wrong) I've got three modules behind my oil filter, but I don't know what they are for.

Those modules will be first on my to-do list, as currently the car's temp runs in the red, but the engine is still running normal - fualty guage/sensor.
