Manual gearbox

I'm curious, with regard to the FL1 diesels are most of you driving a manual gearbox model or an auto?

Over here in antipodes [NZ] most diesels I've seen are auto. A manual is a rarity!

Saw one today on Trademe - very nice 'Land Rover Freelander freestyle 2006' and an attractive start price too.

Only the Td4 came with manual or auto. The 1.8 K series petrol was only available in manual as was the L series diesel. Bizarrely the KV6 petrol was only ever available with an auto. I say bizarrely because the KV6's torque curve is much better suited to a manual box!!
