Id of towed him to services as he is only a few miles from me but im at work till 2 and ran out of mot friday. Funkykippers got a good point about fuse tho.

Thanks for the replies guys. The wombles towed me in, I've filled up the diesel tank and a new fuel filter which I've put on. They then towed me to the parking area but couldnt jump start me cos of their. Electronics. Having a feed now as my daughter was hank Marvin, then heading back out to try and find a friendly battery to stick my jump leads on and see how i go. Ill keep updates coming

Yesterday my disco cut out and showed that same issues. Found it was the fuse to the fuel solenoid had blown.

Just a thought.

Right, confused now!!

Funkykipper is on his way to me now with some tools, see what we can figure out?

I approached a friendly 110 driver that was winch equipped etc, so he unhooked his caravan and came over to me. We plugged in using his anderson connector on his jump leads and connected all his batteries together on his system so there was 14.4v going into mine.

It will turn and turn and turn, but not make the final kick to start, there is smoke coming from the exhaust when cranking but that does smell like vegoil even though it should be on diesel? That could equally be because I run it almost totally on veg so there is bound to be veg smell from the exhaust??

I have filled the start tank with diesel, filled a new fuel filter with diesel and fitted it, I used the priming ball on the diesel line to ensure the diesel lines were full and i've popped the little black fuse cover on the drivers side wing top and checked the fuel injector fuse (15amp) and that is fine as well?

Ideas??

tried cracking off injector pipes? for air or maybe lift pump has gone bad

probably has a load of svo still in the fuel lines

If push comes to shove, remove the air filter and give it a blast of easy start, carb cleaner, break cleaner etc up the air intake.

remember to let the starter motor cool down between cranking sessions too.

Sedimentor 10 or 11mm bolt, can't remember imperial- not the tap as it snaps

I had a look but as its the plastic tap bit I didn't want to touch it!!

The sedementer only involves the veg tank (original diesel tank) and the diesel lines are now new all the way to the switch over valve in the engine bay. providing the switch over valve is working? I have no grounds to assume either way!!

you need to check valve- does it have a manual lever on it as well or not?
