Lr 90 rear x member

anyone ever seen a bolt in rear cross member on a c reg 90? It looks like it bolts in about 8 to 10 inches in front of the rear x member just behind where a 200tdi exhaust would be. Anyone ever seen one fitted? Any ideas where i would get such a thing or is it time to get the box section out and some plate? I have a plan for a quick detachable lowering dixon bate type towing assembly but it requires 2 tow balls or pins through this mythical x member Jai

It sounds like a replacement x member with extensions, that's been bolted in rather than welded in.

There is a box section rear tow bar available that has a removeable drop plate. Scorpion racing do em.

sorry Ratty i think i worded it badly its the original chassis with what looks like factory fitted, as in, been there from new, plates that have been welded in that drop down from each side of the inner chassis rails about an inch or 2 with 2 holes in similar to the front removable gearbox x member has. Its a weird one like its missing a x member Jai

unless they are for a tow hitch for the bottom forward stays of an adjustable hitch Jai
