sorry for not being on the forum for a long time due to ill health bur anyway
i want to put LPG on my 2.5 diesel dhse any one no where i can get a DIY kit for my rangerover. I put a kit om my old disco 2.5 diesel with a big saving on fuel an increase of about 10mpg and with the cost of fuel now im looking for a diy kit so help needed lads. :D

tinley do a kit.though you get as good results on the electronic controlled engines as they already more efficent

I thought it wasn't legal for cars....

Trucks may be OK to run LPG injected...but I am not sure for Cars and Light Vans etc....

Maybe I have it wrong...and it is legal for cars too....

Saint i thought that as well. London transport did some experimenting with it a few years ago. At the time the report said it was not an approved road fuel in the UK. It may have changed but it's not that long ago.

Harsh considering, I said 'I believe...' I never said with a forthright attitude that it IS illegal, I merely stated that I believe it is...and not that it is....

Please do not respond with such anger when my comment (along with all comments on a DISCUSSION forum) is made with honest opinion and in no way was I preaching a law...just merely stated a belief...

I am always open to being corrected, and as such I have not argued with you, as I always open to being corrected or steered in the right direction, which the others have done without resorting to CAPITALS and insinuating my comment was SILLY....

With respect, we all make mistakes, and I am always one who will put my hand up and say...OK I was wrong, thank you for correcting me....but your attitude to my innocent comment is not appreciated.

And again, this is just my opinion.
