HI. Just joined the forum and spotted your post.
My RRC started doing the same, turned out to be a solenoid coil fault.
I found it by the following method.
(bear in mind I'm ex British gas instrumentation so know what I'm doing around gas and electrics. If you're not happy then don't do it!)
You don't need the engine running or even the ignition on.
you do need a couple of lengths of wire that'll reach from the battery to the vaporiser.
Disconnect the battery then disconnect the large plug from the LPG ECU.
locate solenoids (mine has 3, one on vaporiser, one on LPG line filter and one on the tank)
remove connections to the solenoid on the vaporiser and apply 12v from the battery, observing correct polarity, using your lengths of wire, to the solenoid. If it's OK it will make a satisfying "clunk" If it doesn't, measure the solenoid coil resistance, it should be around 18 Ohms. Mine measured about 5 Ohms due to an internal short I assume. Replacing it cured the fault. An open circuit coil will obviously measure infinity Ohms.
Assuming that solenoid's OK then apply 12v to the connectors you just removed. This connects to the other solenoid/s. You may hear a clunk or 2 from the other/s.
You can then prove that LPG is getting through by slowly releasing the LPG line to the vaporiser. You'll hear/see/smell it easily enough. As soon as you become aware of LPG retighten the connection. Then test the connection for leaks with soapy water.
If the LPG isn't getting through, you may find that one of the other solenoids or the connections to them are u/s. Do the usual wiring checks with a meter/test lamp.
This all assumes that you actually have some LPG in the tank. If you haven't it won't help.
Do all of the above outdoors and don't change any electrical connections while you can still smell LPG. It's very volatile stuff and even the smallest spark can cause an explosion.
Mine also has the AEB Leonardo ECU. It should remember its settings as long as they were stored properly (by hitting return on the laptop) the last time it was set up. It's easy to forget to do this when you're playing around with the laptop and you don't know about it until you replace the battery and lose all the settings. Been there, done that.
AS I said before, If you're unsure about any of this then please don't attempt it. Get an expert to check it out for you
