Hi All,
I'm thinking of setting up my own little business and have decided on a used, manual, Land Rover Freelander Commercial, as it's versatile and more secure with panels rather than windows. I plan to add a metal grill over the rear window and a bulkhead behind the seats. My max budget is around 4k. About 90k miles on the clock. My questions are...

1. Where is the best place to find one that hasn't been ragged to death?
2. What common problems should I look out for? (as best as I can, I don't want to inherit hidden expensive mechanical problems)
3. Should I add deadbolts to the doors for added security?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Adrian

Last built in 2005-6, you will struggle to find one with less than 80,000 miles I suspect, it should already have bulkhead divider as standard, usual things, do all dash lights go out, no funny noises or knocking, does it still have a rear prop fitted, and there are plenty of threads asking the same question with all the answers
