Locking without the alarm

I have a '94 200 with the one button fob. I cant work out how to lock the car without setting the alarm. If I keep the dogs in there, the alarm goes off as soon as he/they move. Just locking the car with the key seemed to make no difference......suggestions please.......was thinking about taping up the sensers by the mirror.

Locking the car with only the key does not activate the remote sensor's, at least it doesn't on mine.

could just unplug the interior sensors

i just want to help so if what i say is bollox i'm sorry.......if it's a 10AS system u can program it with a tester to disable volumetric alarm.

do wot i do in my 200tdi , open the rear drivers side door reach in and press the lock on the drivers door , locks them all without activating the alarm
