When i lock via central locking the passenger door lock goes down then pops straight back up, it only stays down if you lock that door on its own. Is this the spring in the lock gone?
Lock spring maybe?

Nope, the door pin raises the drops back slightly with the door still being locked with a failed spring.
Your issue is with the actuator being slightly out of adjustment. Adjustment is carried out by moving the mounting plate a few mm one way or the other.
