Location of serial number on transfer box

Can anyone tell me where to find the serial number on a transfer box that's attached to my LT77?

I'm trying to find out the ratio (28D, etc.) but there's no sticker on the box.

under where sticker should be or around above sump passenger side

Scroll down to just above the red line it tells you there and brlow the red line it will tell what ratio it is.

There's a video of how to find the number on the Ashcroft Transmissions site - very helpful!

The sticker was actually there, just covered in mud hehe.
