Done the mod, and it's failed , the lights remain, I have had to admit defeat due to getting angry and grabbing a big hammer:mad:
I have been out there all day, and only managed to get the interior lights sorted.
I have also removed the stereo and put the standard one back in due to severe
interference, but can't enter the code until I can get the screen to work, hence the upgrade, so all in all, today's been a complete waste of time

Well....................
the mad hat man came around today, and we got the 3 amigos sorted, it needed a new shuttle valve assemble, so purchased, done the mod, all lights now off, Yeahhhhhhhhh. (for the time being anyway) and also fitted the reversing lights.
I would like to take this opportunity to give a big THANK YOU to Richard for spending most of the day round here, helping me out:):):)

doesent happen all the time, one day its fine, the next day goes down in 30 mins, the next day takes a couple of hrs to go down so my fellow money pit owning friends,
Air bag/bags, could not see any leaks with soapy water from the bag, and could not hear any air leaking.
Height ride sensor, it has a bit of tape over the pivots

or anything else.........

As you know I have the bags and heigh sensor, :), just trying to make sure it's nothing else, nanocom didn't pick up any faults
Anyway your on holiday :D

The windy springs on the back are relatively cheap and fairly easy to replace, as are the ride height sensors.
I had a similar problem a couple of years back, changed the air bags straight off and had no trouble since.
I would go so far as to say if you do have rear suspension problems, change both of the bags first before you go any further in diagnosing the problem.
The bags can leak without showing any signs of where from, and you can be sure that they won't leak at all while you're looking for the fault (they're kind clever like that), and change both at the same time. They also know when you've only done one and the other one will start leaking in sympathy.
Main dealer ones are expensive. Dunlop ones are about £150 for a pair. They should be supplied with two new spring clips for each bag.

It's booked in with my mate(who's got his own garage) hopefully next Saturday, I have two new bags (dunlop) I think they was about £150.00 if not close to it, I have the little springs as well, I guess by looking at them there quite easy to fit, also found a pair of ride height sensors on ebay for £40.00 so might get them and change them, just to be sure but I have read that, you need to re live and set up the suspension again, is there a definitive guide for this, in stupid circumstances
