Looking for recomendations. I was following a Derfender one night last winter and when he flicked his full beam on, it was like he'd turned the sun on! I'm guessing he had some sort of led light bar?

I'm looking to fit something similar, I don't want anything too bulky or too long as I see there are lots of different lengths. Also recomendations of fitting location.

I'm looking for a slimline work light for on the back as well, again not too bulky

For light, slim and effective have a look at this recent thread.

I started reading through that link but got bored when it turned into a Top Trumps of LED knowledge. I'm not building a space station, I just want to light the road up better on the odd occasion.

What make and size did you pair get and would you recomend them?

I might try a shorter one for the front, and the same idea at the back. How did you wire them in, on a switch or into the full beam and reverse?

Have a look into LED headlights like Trucklite too as they don't stand out if your not wanting a massive bar or spots on it and they work both on low and high beams while an lightbar or spots will only be on for full beams which can leave you blind with oncoming traffic
