Leather drivers seat retrim

Hi
Has anyone had a seat retrimed, if so how much and where?

I have a 300 tdi es with manual leather seats, however the drivers seat is really tatty. The manual seats seem quite rare and less hassle than wiring up the electric versions, so I'd like to keep them.

I'd therefore prefer to have the drivers seat recovered but the places I have seen so far are really expensive.

Its in beige leather if thats relevant.

Something I have also been planning for a while. Exmoor trim seem to have dropped their leather trimming service. Nationwide trim ( Land Rover Discovery ) still do theirs. I have also found a couple of local guys near to where I live (Edinburgh). This one came well recommended:

There's also been a few seats go on ebay...but the drivers seat is always as worn as my own!

One day I will get around to it!

There are part numbers for the seat covers in material or leather suggesting that they are a replacable part from Land Rover.

I tried this with my 2002 td5, and my local main stealer told me they were no longer available...and when they where it was serious £££. Worth a try tho...
