High folks,
My car is a Freelander 1 TD4 five door facelift model. Trim is ES which means totally manual suede leather front seats. I have had the car since 2016 and I love it!
But I have a trapped nerve in by back, actually in the lumber region ironically. So lumber supports are the bane of my life!
The back problem has got worse with age and the issue with the Hippo seat is that the lumber support has very limited adjustment and is solid rather than inflatable. In other words it has no "zero" position.
Now the small, very simple Cobra Club seat in my tiny Austin A30 sprint car gives no problems. But these are designed for Minis and the like and would look silly in a Freelander.
Any ideas for an aftermarket seat with a similar simple layout? Height adjustment would be nice too but not vital.
I'm going to buy new so forget about swaps etc. So the availability of a ready made frame is another factor.
Any suitable candidates?
Thank you
Clive
