i tellyer what then, me and slob are gong to france off roading and camping in july if anyone wants to tag along they are more than welcome, only problem is, you have ter book yer own feckin ferries and sort yer own accomodation out, oh and if yer want to go off roading then book it yerself,

Why not just work out a price for it excluding the ferry and people can make their own way there?
might be an idea seeing as i think from some of the posts there are some that won't be usng the ferry anyway cos they will already be in france, or they are staying there longer.

why bother at all it seems you cant please anyone, if you dont want to come just say so, the deal is simple
£500
1 week in north france
camping
2 full days off roading
return ferry crossing

if it doesnt match what you want, arrange your own holiday, if it does then sign up.

any more grief and the whole lot will be cancelled

Oh you can understand the poor guys frustration...........he's tried to explain it as best he can. Hey I've had a novel idea............ get his phone number and actually talk to him....... You know like in the old days before this internet lark started You should be able to get it sorted that way.

As i was saying, although maybe not clear enough at 3am or whenever, on page 20 or so, Yella said it was £500 if 30 people went and it would be more if less than 30 went, so was just trying to find out what was what!!!

calm down yella - I am sure it woz Slob that mentioned b&b, some while ago. Where are the cost savings likely to be - i wud have thought the ferry and the off-roading. I wud be happy to come along as a social event - to meet yuz (god knows why?) and have a bit of a holiday. Others mite feel the same and it mite meen the ferry wud be cheaper. If yu gonna get on ya high horse and only want hardened off-roaders - then it looks like its Ireland this year - I cant say the missus is enamoured to meeting "all the other children" - a bit of "luxury" mite persuade her, and I am sure some other wives feel the same.
