Land Rover dont even know???? hummmm

I went to my local Land Rover dealer to get the paint code and EKA code. I gave them the log book for the VIN number.
They put it into their computer and told me that there was no information at all for this car. Yes its there on the computer but it only tells them thats its a 200 tdi discovery? Where do i go from here????????any help - Thanks guys

I think the paint code should be on a plate, in the middle at the front of the engine bay.

200 tdi's and early 300's don't have a EKA code that function didn't come along untill the two button fob was introduced.

What colour is you disco?, green, blue etc.

DISCOOL - thanks for telling me about the EKA code.......now i do feel a pr**k now. I dont suppose you know how to do away with the immobiliser side of the alarm do you? I would still like to use the central locking but the immobiliser is a real pain. I know this subject is a little bit tabo but i really need to by - pass it. THANKS guys

You may find your paint colour somewhere on this site as it shows some old paint (non-metallic) codes. metallic colour

Sorry I can't help with the immobiliser I don't know fully how it works, but it may be easy its to remove the outputs from it, that's if you know what they are and how the work.

Land Rover gave the same colours different names, depending on which vehicle it was used on. My Depender is Arles Blue, but exactly the same colour in a Disco is called Windjammer Blue.
You may find that your colour white is called someting else on that list.

As its Landrover the white you are looking for is probably called green

LRR is acrually IRR= Infra Red Reflective. Mil obviously

In regard to colours, i've always called mine grey as I had a green one aswell. But looking on the logbook for the grey one it says its green but the actual colour is Avalon blue

i was told by land rover in cardiff that some older landys information were being discontinued on their system and they are not the only ones as peugeot are doing the same
