hi all, I’ve not been on here for a while( since selling my 90).
I’m now a semi- proud 03 freelander owner . A few days ago my heater blower stopped working- also the lights on heater panel, ac button etc.
I’ve checked fuses, resistors look ok- no burnt wires etc. Motor not seized
I’ve searched forum and google but everyone else seems to have 12v reading at motor, I have nothing! Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Chris

Is there a relay between the fuse and the switch? Have you tried feeding 12v direct to the motor direct from the battery?

Col
Thanks for replying- I found one in the passenger footwell, so I swapped it with one of the other yellow ones but still no joy.

If might want to look in Rave at the electrical diagrams as well. It has a full electrical diagram and you may find 1 point that these things all have in common.

If you haven't already got it, Rave is the LR Workshop manual for their cars. There's info on downloading it on this thread....

It needs a Windows PC to run on.
Cheers mate- I think the rave is my next step- I’ll have to wait until tomoz in work, only have apple at home.

Here's a screen shot of the heater circuit. ;)

And the power distribution for the heater.

Quick update, found no live going to fuse box. Pinched a live but it’s a permanent live not on the ignition so have to remember to turn the blower off . Not perfect but will do for now.
Thanks for your inputs, much appreciated.
