Hi Guys,
I have a 2002 L322 3.0 TD6. Love the car, but have a problem with the suspension. The rear nearside is running 20mm lower than the rest and has now started sqeaking like an old bedstead. I have been told it may need the airbag assembly on that corner replacing and also a 'rose joint' possibly. I have been directed to a main dealer but at £100 an hour I am not keen on that option! (Apparently both these things require special tools)
I am not a mechanic and I would appreciate a lead for an independent mechanic in the Hampshire area, unless you guys can give me any better advice.
I am a little heavy of heart over this as I have recently paid nearly a grand for 2 injectors and a lift pump, and have a string of electrical problems to sort out!!
How far my love of the car will stretch I do not know!!
