Hi there i have a 2004 L322 have 2 faukts one is the air suspension fault have tried the full turn left and right, nothing ! then bought a new suspension module still the same , bought service kit for the compressor and did that have had the pressure tested in it ... more than enough dont know where to go next :((( also have an orange light that comes on says number plate light not working but it is please help thanks

Ho there yes sorry we cleared all codes the suspension wont move at all its up at the moment and yes tried new bulbs :)

Never used a Hawkeye so I'm no use there.
If you clear the fault does the compressor run at all?
Does the fault code come back?
Is the car at normal height or sunk down to the bump stops?

What module did you buy?
hi there yes it clears the fault off and as soon as i switch it back on its there again suspension is in normal height but wont go down so at least i can drive it the module was the suspension module which someone else said could be the fault but its still there

Was the module a ride height sensor? Usually after replacing a height sensor the suspension has to recallibrated, if that's what was replaced was this done?
I think you need to look at what's happening in real time, Compressor running then stopping, height sensor out of tollerence etc. As I say I don't know the Hawkeye but I believe it's very good.
Do you have the touch screen as per below? sometimes you can see issues on there.

Normal.

Hi there no dont have the picture one mine is 2004 and to be honest the display doesnt work at all :( the module i replaced as the air suspension module would you know how to test the sensors ???

the module i replaced as the air suspension module

Do you mean the air suspension ecu in the passenger footwell?

You can test the sensors with a test meter checking the resistance changes smoothly, usually they wear in one spot so the resistance changes dramatically on that part. Although it's not in english the video below shows how the resistance changes .

Really you need someone that knows the Hawkeye to see how to look at live data.
