I know have my RR back and have been using it for several days.
Now I have ANOTHER problem!! I went to try to get in it this morning and the central locking wasnt working so I tried to open the door manually. Too no avail.
I have had GF out and they managed to get into it and charge the battery to discover the code.
"KEYCODE LOCKOUT" Back to square one Can not use it at all!!! What does this mean and how do I fix it?
Thanks in advance.
Benson

dont your ing lights come on? as on the right as you look there should be a orange light that is your cheeck light you need this on to start the engine..

The Keycode Lockout message should dissappear after 30 minutes waiting time. Then you should get the the message "Enter EKA code or press remote".
If the remote does not work, then you will have to enter your EKA code via the key in the drivers door lock and pray that the microswitches in the door lock function correctly.

Thanks for your advice John

We have, so far, replaced the RF and the o/s door lock assembley, entered the EKA code manually and HEY HO it started!!!! We let it run for a bit, turned the egnition off and reassembled the inside cover to the drivers door.

Got in turned the endnition to double check and guess what.............KEYCODE LOCKOUT again!!!!!!!

Can any one suggest what else could be wrong????

I am having the same problem its a head wreck

Had similar problems myself and trying to enter the key code was nightmare,as the lock is well worn and just could not get it to accept the code even after several attempts. I ended up replacing both front door mech's. I also found out that the new r/f i had fitted was faulty after two form the same supplier both faulty i am running with the old r/f with the blue wire off. As matter of interest had the old r/f packed up or as i did decided to replace it might be worth trying your old one back on.
