it dont seem to want to lock and set alarm

it will lock but if u press the button 2x to set it to supper lock it dont beep and if i wait about 15 sec. after that it trys to re-lock again on its own even tho its allready locked. i dont know y or what to do with it any help would be great.

it never did that before i used to just press the lock button twice and it would lock and beep now i dont get a beep

What should happen is on the first button press the car should lock, on the second button press nothing will appear to happen, unless you hold the button down with windows, etc open and then the windows, sunroof etc should all close. after about 15 - 20 seconds the car will then double lock.

If however you leave too long a gap between the first and second button presses you will just, i think, lock the car twice.

If you get any beeping, normally two beeps in quick succession, this is indicating a fault such as a door, the tailgate or the bonnet open or the windows or sunroof not set.

the indicators flash 3 times to show its superlocked!

well i tested it and it does flash the lights three times but it used to beep once with that and now its not. also if window is open it still locks normal and if i hold the button down it does nothing window stays open and it still locks up and flashes the lights three times. well anyway what im geting at is if it dont beep is it still working right or do i have a problem. ok i think i got it,it used to say sunroof not set and now it doesnt so i think thats what the beep was ill test it again with the sun open and let u know. ok well i did and still no beep i give up

disconnect the battery,
reconnect the battery,
put key in door, turn to the left.
this will reset.
to reset your sunroof, open (tilt) and close again. this will reset that.
same for windows, open fully and then close

what will dissconecting the batt. do i herd someware if that happens you have to reprogram everything

well i did'nt yesterday when all my electrics went including the remote, the alarm
was just going off.

i had a power surge into my air con pump to get it started and all hell broke loose.
i disconnected the battery and the message center tells you you need to reset.

if you read up on the alarm system in the rave cd, you will note that the single button press locks all the car but does not set the volumetric sensor. the reason for this is so you can leave the spaniels in the boot and collect your pheasants. the alarm will sound if the doors are opened but not if movement is detected

the superlock mode sets the volumetric sensor and will sound if movement is detected, no spaniels. i'm not sure which mode or both disable the interior locks

Mine doesn't do this. If I press the lock button once, it locks and the indicators flash. If I press it again, the locks clunk and the indicators flash again. I assumed this was the superlock, but according to this thread this isn't the case

It does nothing after 15 seconds....

Does that mean my superlock isn't working?
