is this in good or bad condition?

thats way over price, for 1 - 200 you could get a good project with a rotten chassis, then spend 600 on brand new galvanised chassis

£600 - I thort they were closer to twice that?

no lwb ones are you can get a new galvi chassis for swb between 600 and 900

88" Galv Chassis...

i dont mean to sound like a complete tool but can you make a series 2 as good as a defender 90 ? eg put a 200tdi engine in, mcpherson struts all-round? if so how much would it cost to get the bits and do it yourself?? this may also sound daft but could you put a series 2 body on a different chassis if what i said before aint possible!! ??

mcpherson struts...dampners with springs around them..i think coil overs are another name for them!! i dont realy want leafsprings on the landy (wen i get it lol) because i would like it lifted to have better ground clearance/ able to fit bigger wheels and tyres!

i dont know why but im attracted to the look of series 2 pick ups maybe it was all the episodes of heartbeat i watched as a kid

my first landy i called bertha a 109 s3 it was to practise on, chassis snapped in half.(still drove it home) haha.
took me a year to mot,i now own a 90 but i see wat u mean the shape of the s2 and s3 are the best looking and espacially the truck cab(look like a tonka toy....lol
the only reason why i went 90 was suspension.....

im sure u will have fun with whatever u buy "as long as its a landy"
