We had an 08 plate in work last year. It's a Santana PS-10.

Was absolutely ****ed, must have been used at a quarry or something!

Anyway, same idea as a 110 but every panel/part different. Mostly for the better tbh...!

Got leaf springs, and effectively series 3 axles/swivels. Has the Iveco 2.8, lovely powerful motor, and the LT85 5 speed box.

The ones with the white roof are GRP roof, keeps the temps down in Spain etc.

More room inside, you sit further away from the doors.

Didn't notice anything else of much importance. It was no land rover, but tbh more of a useful everyday car probably. Seemed less likely to fall apart instantly but probably cos it was so new. However the leaf spring had some worn bushes and I couldn't get the parts.

One of the upper swivel bearings had gone, was able to get the parts from a local Iveco dealer who also supplied for Santana.

So yeah, the seller who obviously doesn't know a lot about them is telling you it's more of a Land Rover than it is!

I wonder if parts are hard to find/expensive or if they share lots of bits with LR, wonder how hard they are to fix? Wonder how often they break down/rot.........

**in the time it has taken me to write this post you have answered all my questions mrnoisy, ta:)**

They're based on the series 3 NOT Defender.

As previously stated santana used to build under licence. & kept the SIII rights when LR moved on to Defender platform.

The photo shows a Santana PS10 also called an "Anibal" but they're now owned by IVECO & latest incarnation has a 3.0 lump & is called "Massif".

Don't see that many this side of the channel either but they're a lot more common in Spain;

Santana also used to make Suzuki 4x4s under licence too;
