Classic Is it possible to replace the body mounts with the body in situ?

Is it possible to replace them with completely lifting the body of and using common tools? Like not going to a garage? I thought of a high lift to get just enough clearance.

You don't need to lift the body, just support it while you remove the old mount. I did this with wooden wedges in various places between chassis and floor. You'll likely need to cut the bolts off as they are put in from above, then refit from underneath.
