Intermittent Electric Folding Mirrors

Hi hope some one can advise me on another problem with my 53 TD4 SE,
the electric folding mirrors have a mind of there own, some times they work ok other times one mirror will not fold and other times both mirrors wont fold.
I have removed the control switch and cleaned all the contacts and have removed the control relay part number FORD D3LOA 1S7T 17L684 AA, had a look inside the relay and found it was a printed circuit board, LR wants £21 + vat for a replacement LR part number LYWC001020.
What do you think is it the control relay?

Well the first part of the number is correct, do you have any more info.

Sorry I just looked at the link, no its not the correct relay, thanks mad hat man.

I have searched the internet for hours looking for this control relay but have not found any.
Do you think I should order From LR and do you think the control relay is the problem?

my 03 td4 does this too, but only after closing - openinig - closing and so on quickly. Give it 5 mins then all is well again.

have come to conclusion something may be overheating or tripping out so dont close them unless absolutely necessary.

May be a built in feature to stop it killing itself????

Thanks for that chuts, does this happen on all freelanders? or just yours and mine.

Yes, they are supposed to do this, they time out after several in/outs to prevent motor damage.

Thanks for all your help, you have saved me time and money trying to fix a fault that is not a fault.

Yes mine does it as well? 54 HSE. Now the drivers mirror, when it closes, continues to cycle for several seconds, even though it is closed before it stops. Any ideas?

These any help ?
