Interior floor

So.. Im going to be making a set of check plate covers for the bottom of the doors ect... and i thought as i was going to be getting some check plate from my local metal merchant i would replace the carpet on the floor with check plate because my carpet keeps getting full of mud.

Has any1 herd of this or any idea of any issues i may have with this idea??

peeps will take the micky outta you, that's the only issue i am aware of

It'll be a lot louder without the carpet to insulate the sound, plus it might be a right bitch to get out when you need to patch up holes!

Why don't you put a plastic load liner in.
