Interior Cabin Lights 51 Plate TD4 Auto

Interior lights and map reading lights not working from switches.

However, interior lights illuminate as normal whenever the doors are opened.

Anyone got any ideas.

Check the switches

had same fault a couple of years ago turned out the arial base was loose water got in and furred up the switches.tightend up the base cleaned connections to swiches and it worked happy days

My 02 auto just done this. Pushed/tapped the whole box up and all working again.

Heavy rain last night so might be water ingress as suggested.
