LPG incorporating the Freelander 1.8 and need the help of someone who has built. Interest of me where he "took" vaporizer for heating and where the nozzles mounted? If an image can be built LPG device?

I wouldnt even think about LPG on a 1.8 K series. That engine already suffers from poor cooling, cavitation and poor water circulation. LPG increases combustion temperatures and on a K series will, quite likely, push it over the edge.

I knew that in England you will sound stupid but when you live in Serbia on all points start thinking crazy. With us the price of LPG twice the number of gasoline and is very convenient to drive on LPG. Any gasoline vehicle in Serbia on LPG which costs € 0.50. I built a lot of LPG in cars and if they told me that it is not good, I had a RAV 4, which has soft valve and not his mind, and so I took the hose from the heating Freelander and use the water for the device
. It can not heated
LPG, which is cold and whose temperature is about 3 degrees. It shall facilitate the cooling and in all cars can run only problem with poor heating and never cooled. It does not jeopardize the engine cooling because it is not in the primary circulation. I was interested to see eating
someone has already installed LPG

I think the general opinion here is that because the 1.8 has a poor reputation regarding cooling system and cylinder head gasket failures an LPG conversion will cause greater problems for engine reliability.

As far as I know nobody on this forum has a 1.8 with LPG and so cannot answer your question or provide an image. Sorry :(

Are these any use to you?
the gas vaporiser heat comes from the heater pipes being rerouted through it

I installed LPG device, all elements of cost me € 300. I've made the settings on my
computers and can tell you that first impressions are excellent. Everything works well, the ride is no difference compared to gasoline, the device is fully automatic. I'll show you pictures tomorrow.

The top hose, tee'd into the top heater hose, the bottom hose tee'd into bottom heater hose BEFORE the lower return T.
Hope this helps.

Hi

I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. I've purchased a KLandrover Freelander W-reg last year and its my first car and I love it. I wanted to ask if it would be wise for me to have it converted to lpg due fuel prices? I have just had it serviced, I've put in a calcium battery, new cam-belt, filters, water pump and a couple of other things if this makes any difference.

'remote thermostat and EWP if yu have to. Maybe even waterwetter.'

Sorry I don't understand what the above means

I suggest that as an owner of a petrol Freelander, you aught to find out, as a matter of urgency, what the above mean and acquaint yourself with them in some detail. :search: and :googleit: are your friends in these matters.
