information please

Hi i am considering buying a landrover ,preferably one of the two seaters with the benches running along the back, possibly a 90 defender or something similar, my question is this ,based on the fact that this is a commercial vehicle and i dont have a valid use for it ,that is im not in any sort of business which would justify owning such a vehicle can i ,or will an insurance company let me cover it? i know this is very long winded but i have hankered after one of these for quite some time and im almost ready to dip my toe so to speak!!! any relitave information is most welcome,cheers .

you can insure it as a commercial, best bet is if you see one you like give the reg to your insurance and get a quote
