Getting back to when she told me. Her first words were " I don't have a jag any more I've got a Range Rover". My heart skipped a beat, thinking she had joined the fold. I waited, eagerly for her to tell me which one. Then just before she said it, I suddenly thought " oh no! She's a poseur, I bet it's and ejoke. " How right and how saddened I was as she said " it's a red evoque, with black and red leather interior. "
It was too much, the rant was out before I could stop it.................. oops

It's alright GR, my sister has a Mini Countryman and her husband has a Ford Kuga - it is painfull, right up until I park the L322 on their drive and realise that whilst me and my sister are of the same blood, I have infinatley more taste - if far less money!

I have just read your sad sad news @gold rover have you thought of moving to the other side of the world ?

That's also a bit of a kicker. I have more taste and more money but she has a newer driving thing and a bigger house!
Still I have a better driving thing, which I can without shame call a Range Rover

My sister has bought an ejoke . I am SO sorry everyone. I did try to explain the error of her ways. Sadly she is a poseur ,with green cheese syndrome. Ever since I got the Golden Girl 8yrs ago, she has had a tinge of green about it.
I shall now go off and serve my penance, at the foot of the green oval.

My dad was telling me my brother has now got a bigger Range Rover, he said it’s got something like auto on the back , but bless him he couldn’t tell me which one , will find out next month as my other brother is getting married , what a plonker

It was the Jag XF. Nice looking beastie, if a bit 'Dad car'. Especially in the light blue, that she had. I will laugh like hell if your brother has bought another ejoke but Dad just think it looks bigger. Maybe it's a Velar?
Just had a flash of inspiration, maybe it's a full fat autobiography. That has auto on the back.

Addit: Had an F pace in front on me today on slow single lane road. I'd never realised before the back end looks a bit Porsche ish.

There nice the XF , know my brother said he wouldn’t get another ejoke , particularly because of the rear window

That’s a point ref the autobiography, dread to think what it would cost to lease one of them, indeed maybe a velar, saw one in the showroom the other week, not too shabby but couldn’t see my dogs in one of them, lol

Also looked at a discovery sport and discovery 5 , yuk , not my cup of tea

Doesn’t surprise me these days how many cars look similar to one another

Still like the Rangie L322 , saw one a little while back, had tan leather interior and body was in black , didn’t have the usual window tints and looked really nice, maybe one day

Don’t know which Range Rover model it is where two people in the front can see different images on the same dashboard screen , very clever

Plus , just got myself a new steering wheel , is from a discovery 4 / sport , had to fit new circuit boards in the switches of the new wheel
