Might be well known here so apologies if I'm teaching you suck eggs but having had so much great advice on here since I joined I'd like to offer a tiny bit back. Bikers have been using this stuff for years, I discovered it when I had my GSA, but it seems little known in the four wheeled world. It's an anti-corrosion/protection spray used on aircraft. About £14 a tin. Spray it on clean surfaces and it forms a thin film which helps keep dirt and grease off and protects against rust. It works fine at insane temperatures (the aircraft thing). These are my wheels from yesterday. Truck gets used everyday in the lanes, all year, and until recently lived outside too. This application will last about three months or so.

Anyway, there you go. Hope it's useful to anyone who didn't already know. I treat cross members, hinges and all external steel with it and it works an absolute treat. Get it in most big bike shops or on fleabay/mail order.

yep been using this stuff for a few years now.

also you can get one by scottoiler anti corrosion called FS365

you get more bang for the buck as it comes in liquid form the ac50 i found i was spending most of my money on the air that compresses the small amount of liquid into the can.

Scottoiler FS365 Anti Corrosion Protector Inhibitor 5 Litre Refil on eBay!

5ltr for £30 thats why i use on my bike not the truck tho i also use it on the landy.
