Nah gamekeeper is gonna have a new licence & he int gonna be able to tow that much weight. But I'll drive it for em if they want. It'll be a long fooking drive though 470miles in total

well being even kinder the chap said he could prolly offer somewhere to kip, and the pubs 100yds down the road. now I just need to book a day off work

and find a way of getting it back! I think I can source a trailer, that's the easy bit, it's finding someone (or a landy) to tow it with!

Can you describe running rough? I just watched my land rover go from running rough, to backfiring like a machine gun, to not running, to purring like a kitten. It took nothing more than some electrical and fuel system adjustments. Over all less than 100 USD.

I'm ready to believe that any rover can be brought back to life with a weekend and a credit card.

FFFFsake Nelly as someone said before join the aa/rac.
Nellys pick up plan
1.Join the AA/RAC get the recovery to home option.
2. drive up on your moped.
3. buy / get landy
4. put moped in back
5. get out your tools and the spares you took up with you (Ignition service kit + bits for cleaning carb.)
6. If you cant get it going then push it off his drive and around the corner.
7. call RAC /AA
8. if the RAC/AA man cant fix it they will tow it home for you(and some of them do know what they are doing).
