Hi all,
I'm looking for some advice, obviously. I've recently bought my much coveted Defender 90, and am finding it a bit of a squeeze to drive comfortably, as I'm the wrong side of 6'2''. Any ideas on a simple fix, or am I looking at a bulkhead replacment bar and hours with a hacksaw? I've seen some things called Mud seat rails, any thoughts on these?:D

Cheers Guys.

The mud seat rails make a suprising difference but instead of paying however much for them, just get some box section and a few longer bolts and do it yourself. Sticking a few washers under the front end so that it tips the seat base up at the front helps as well and i found the seat is much comfier. Did this to a mates last weekend and he's chuffed with the difference, shall be doing it to mine next week :D

I'm 6'5" and have fitted the Exmoor Trim seat rails (a set came up on eBay). Without a bulkhead removal bar, their use is limited, but they do give you an inch or two extra legroom. The other thing I've done is to fit a much smaller (13") steering wheel. This gives me a lot more room between wheel and knees.
