ive got a crane to fit to my hi cap pickup it will be lifting at the most 350 kilos
but it needs a bit more height to clear the sides

similar to this one but no more height available ive had a few suggestions but id like some more

i would fabricate some kind of plate steel across the chassis then bolt a frame to take the crane to that then bolt the crane through the floor to the frame.
 
Make a spacer to fit underneath it. Basically a length of thick wall (8 or 10mm) Box section with a flat plate welded to the top with bolt holes drilled to suit the cranes mounting bolts. And a couple of plates at the bottom to weld or bolt to chassis.
 
basically you could do as red said which would be the most common sense approach to it or you could get the manufacturers details off the hoist and give them a ring, they will normally have a tech department and if you ask real nice they will e mail you a detailed drawing of extension pieces, adaptor plates and any other bits you might need:D
