How toxic is OAT coolan additive?

The Haynes manual is all scary about the stuff - don't leave it on the drive or your kids'll lick the drive and die!!!

Is it really bad or more an Austrian wine additive?

I'm mildly concerned as I may well be swimming in the stuff tomorrow when I take my D2's under tray off.

WOULDN'T suggest you drink it, but washed off for years no major ill effects yet

Just watch out for cats, apparently they're attracted by coolants, and quite a high number are poisoned each year throught drinking it.

Think the clue is in the name Organic Acid Technology. I'd assume from that, That it is acidic in some way or other?? :doh:

I thought organic was meant to be good for you?

Thought it was a case of toxic=not nice, non toxic=might not taste nice but you'll be reet.
