how the feck do they work that out?

went to local 4x4 parts place today and i want to replace my mushroom top type snorkel with a safari type one.

there is a copy which looks identical to mee,had one in the showroom on the display priced at £120 thats quite reasonable i fort ill av one..

ahh none in stock the one on display is for a 300 tdi and goes on drivers side i want a 200 tdi one passenger side no probs it will b here weds.

price £149.99..so why the fook is a 300/td5 snorkel £30 cheaper than a 200 when the only difference is which side they are mounted?

You can get a genuine Safari snorkel for a 200tdi for £135 plus vat...£155.25 from Paddocks. The 300tdi is £155 plus vat... work that one out
Get a real one if you are forking out

from what i can see of the copy they dont look any different?

why buy a copy? it will be made from inferior materials, have less quality control and the people who put hours of research and development into the product dont see squot of your £££ because you have decided to buy cheap tat.

I like the Mantec Plastic jobby.... but dont dive as deep as you so cant justify it. Besides I need a new door strap first or it would damage it
