when you take the pipe thingy off the top cover it because you have to turn it 90 degrees and press the pedal to get it out. when you press the pedal you'll squirt fluid out, watch your paint work as well get it off quick if you spill any

the bits wot the liquid can come out - the bleed fingies, the clutch housing, any pipes etc. anywhere it can come out - it will - heading straight fur ya eyes!

sorry Disco - but when i dun this (and it is a long time ago) the bubbles would rise back up the tube and cant always be seen easily - it is easier to see the bubbles whilst the liquid is being expelled.

maybe I shd shutup and go back to sleep:(

Yeah your right it is easier to see when its flowing, but 2 full clutches, top up and another 2 will completly flush the system through and with the pipe in the jar it can only suck fluid back in.

I suppose you do loose a bit extra fluid this way.

Which reminds me, the fluid in the jar, don't be tempted to pour it back into the container, bin it.

Yeah. Will bin the clutch fluid. I know it's easily contaminated and absorbs water. Thank you fer yer help. Its dot 4 fluid is'nt it? Not dot 3.. Will dig out the manual tomorrow.

The beginning! Went out this mornin with all the best intentions, disconnected the battery, took an hour to find the slave cylinder and the bleed screw, cos I had'nt a clue where it was, then could'nt get it undone, then gave up, connected the battery back up and went for a drive! Got a friend coming over tomorrow to help now, so it should be done by then.. !
