Yup, I agree, they always seem to do that. IMHO, the only reliable method is to use 2 people - loosen bleed valve, depress pedal, tighten bleed valve, release pedal, loosen bleed valve, depress pedal, tighten bleed valve, release pedal ........... repeat as often as necessary, topping up every 2 cycles.

Guys.If I take the floor pan oot I can reach up to me 'crutch' can I not?!

In theory, if you take the floor pan out you can drive it like the Flinstones wagon

I know I am talking without any experience here, but it seems a god-awful lot of work to change a clutch master cylinder!

Me ma lives on a boat and she's orf galavanting round the canal system. So no, ma can't work me crutch..
