How good is a TD4 at towing?

I remember working on the Jaguar aircraft. BAe proudly advertised it as their first all metric aircraft. That was bullshit, 98% of the fasteners and components were imperial but just converted to metric values on the drawings.

No need, you will return to the fold when it falls apart after a little while!

And imperial measurements are still very common. Most still talk acres not hectares, cricket pitch is 22yds, we use miles per hour, teaspoons and cups, PSI.

I went to school in the seventies, we did both, not only feet and inches but bushels, pecks, rods, poles and furlongs as well.

3/8 is the bigger as 1/4 is 4/16 and 3/8 is 6/16

I knowed that! Just had to think about it for about ten minutes.

With the Kia. Look out for rust on the rear chassis rails. I know of several 8 or 9 year old Kia's fail the Mot on serious structural rust

Yeah, seen quite a few issues with them in online posts so if I go for one will take a very close look. Also seem to blow light bulbs but not sure if only in American spec cars.

Modern cars do blow bulbs more than older designs like the Freelander. This is due to smart charging systems often fitted now. For instance, my D3 alternator outputs over 15 Volts just after a cold start. This slowly reduces to 14.2 Volts after 10 minutes or so. If you have lights on while the voltage is high, bulb life is reduced. I've gone through 2 setsof headlamp bulbs in 12 months on my Discovery.
