HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM....

Okay. Working on back door of a 2204, 2.00 TD4 facelift F1. Got it working by fitting a fuse. Seems someone took a new power supply to the rear door, separate fuse etc.. I would post photos but system says I don't have authority. Basically new supply from fuse box with its own external fuse. Goes to rear door and to a relay. At that point I am lost. But it works and door opens. Rear window needs regulator as currently won't go down , if it slips down I can get it up by repeated goes on window up button. About to change the regulator with a known working, and then the hell that is calibrating.....worried, as I know the door open and window are linked in someway. Hoping new regulator won't screw up the open door function..

Okay, pictures uploaded via the computer. So some one has wired a new supply from main fuse box (inc its own fuse) to the back door. door works as it should (ish) with following weird crap (or standard freelander silliness)

1) Rear door works on the Handel perfect, but only if the key is in ignition and turned on.

2) Window will come down the required 10mm, when opening, but wont go back up.

3) I can bring the window back up the 10mm after closing rear door on the internal switch (sometimes, see next item)

4) If I take the window down, it works perfectly, but will not come up at all unless I go and open and close the back door. This also applies if I want to get it back up the 10mm, I have to go and open and reclose back door every time.

As I am aware a rear door on a freelander has a system/CPU that takes a PHD to understand, is any of this normal sh!t for a freelander, and what is not?

Have another loom of the spare door I took the regulator off, and at a date in the future, considering replacing the rear door loom and seeing if I can figure out how to get it to work normally.
