Homemade snorkel ideas.

Reet...seeing as these are rarer than hens teeth used on ebay and i have a massive drug habit to feed, has anyone got the dimensions i'd need to make a snorkel for a 200tdi D1?

And what is the choice of pipe? Metal v Plastic?

I've got a snorkel, or part of, from an RRC if you want it.....you just have to come get it or get it relayed it to you!!!

I put one off a 90 on mine. Used a bit of drain pipe for inner wing and a bit of flexy to get to airbox. I think it was 2 3/4"

I used a 63mm stainless steel pipe for the a post with a drain pipe elbow on.then a night heater entry grill for stoppjng leaves getting sucked in.

Flexi for the inner arch then to the air box.
